New iMacs coming next week…

Apple stopped shipping custom iMacs for about two weeks now and here in Germany moved some of the old base stock to some clearance shops.

On other fact is that the new iMacs will be more expensive, maybe 100€ more then what they are now.

My predictions for the new iMacs:

• USB 3 (4 Gbit/s)
• Maybe a new Firewire (6.4 Gbit/s)
• Faster CPUs
• New Keyboard (maybe)

So there you have it, my predictions!  I know that I am happy that I didn’t get the 27inch this year and waited a bit.  With USB 3.0 you can really do some major video editing on an external array, without any major drawbacks!  Can’t wait.
